For many years Flash has been the key to interactive and engaging web content, however with newer technologies and security requirements, its time to say “goodbye”.
Ongoing issues with Flash’s functionality and compatibility with modern browser are getting worse with each browser release and in some cases are presenting issues that are unsolvable. Within the next year, browsers will begin actively blocking Flash content in ways that users with limited access to their workstation settings will be unable to overcome.
For the time being, CriticalPoint will continue to publish our content with Flash capability but you will need to use one of our recommended browsers. You will also need to confirm you are on the latest version of Flash.
Microsoft has decided to discontinue Internet Explorer but continues to maintain the browser. The preferred browser from Microsoft is Microsoft Edge which supports the content and security requirements of our Learning Management System. We also recommend using Google Chrome and FireFox if Microsoft Edge is not available. By the end of 2019, all of our content will no longer support Flash and will be published as HTML.
