Held at the CriticalPoint Center for Training and Research in Totowa, NJ, this training program delivers high-quality, cost-effective professional development and networking opportunities. We believe that the best way for pharmacists and other compounding professionals to understand and implement current standards of practice is to be immersed in a setting that provides access to a comprehensive curriculum in a real-life setting with hands-on practice mentored by faculty who are truly subject matter experts.

Immediately following the Core Skills Training, the Best Practice for Handling Hazardous Drug class will teach best practices and requirements including the USP Chapter that is relevant to all aspects of handling hazardous drugs (HDs) and is appropriate for medical, nursing and pharmacy workers. Understanding this information will allow users to develop and implement best work practices NOW while they work to future-proof their facility for performing both non-sterile and sterile HD handling.
