The Best Practices for Handling Hazardous Drugs Course will begin at 8:00 am on Thursday, March 26th and will run through Friday, March 27th at 4:45 pm. This registration is for the Hazardous Drug Training Class ONLY. If you are looking to add on The Best Practices for Nonhazardous, Sterile to Sterile Compounding Class which begins on Monday, March 23rd, please use the registration form: Best Practices for Nonhazardous, Sterile to Sterile Compounding Class combined with Best Practices for Handling Hazardous Drugs Class – March 23-27, 2020.

• E-learning: 3 lessons to be completed successfully before attending the live training; 5 credits ACPE
• 1 1/2 days of training, lively discussions as well as practicum experiences that simulate real-life work scenarios

Participants will be provided a light continental breakfast each morning, lunch on all days and midmorning and afternoon refreshments. A free shuttle to the training facility is included.
Immediately following the Core Skills Training, the Best Practice for Handling Hazardous Drug class will teach best practices and requirements including the USP Chapter that is relevant to all aspects of handling hazardous drugs (HDs) and is appropriate for medical, nursing and pharmacy workers. Understanding this information will allow users to develop and implement best work practices NOW while they work to future-proof their facility for performing both non-sterile and sterile HD handling.
